Published in 2003, this is one of five books that might be described as George Best autobiographies. The others are Bestie (1998), The Good, the Bad and the Bubbly (1999), Blessed (2001), and Hard Tackles and Dirty Baths (2005).
Each of these (including Scoring at Half Time) used the services of a ghost writer. Bestie is described as "the authorised biography".
